A little bit about ecobars..

EcoBars came about after a bit of a wake-up call. Angelo and Lin were working a festival when they found themselves stuck in an artic trailer absolutely stuffed with plastic drinks bottles. It was a shocking moment that made them realise just how much waste pop-up bars can produce – and they knew they had to do something about it. That’s when the idea for EcoBars was born.

Angelo’s always been involved in the hospitality world. Growing up around his family's Italian spot, La Casa Italia, in Liverpool. He’s one of the landlords of The Plough Inn, Easton and used to run the Blue Juice Bar.

Lin’s a proper West Country girl with a big love for festivals – but she’s also clued up on the environmental mess they can leave behind. With more than 20 years of experience in community groups and organising events (not to mention being a proud Easton Cowgirl).

Together, Angelo and Lin are on a mission to prove that bars can be sustainable without losing any of the fun. EcoBars isn’t just about serving drinks – it’s about making eco-friendly choices the norm and showing that small changes can make a big difference.
